Every year, the Youth Union branches in Chau Thanh district focus on reviewing, mobilizing, and guiding young people with start-up projects, and researching solutions to support project implementation. Based on the actual needs of young people, the District Youth Union and the Youth Union Associations will coordinate with departments and organizations to implement policies to support capital for economic development; train and transfer science and technology, and introduce effective start-up models for young people to visit and study. In addition, they will be supported in accessing digital transformation to promote youth products. Last year, the District Youth Union and the District Youth Union Associations launched a campaign for young people to propose more than 210 ideas and initiatives for the Campaign " Each youth, one idea, one creative initiative”. Of which, 13 ideas and initiatives of young people were supported to be implemented and realized; there is one initiative, creative solution in labor, production - business, with a profit value of over 40 million VND; one product won second prize in the An Giang Province Creative Startup Ideas Competition in 2024.

Furthermore, the District Youth Union and the Youth Union Associations at various levels within the district have actively encouraged members and young people to boldly and proactively participate in economic development projects organized by the Union and Associations. They also guide and establish models such as clubs for talented young entrepreneurs to create jobs for youth and take on the implementation of local economic projects. Accompanying and supporting young people to establish themselves and start a business, in recent years, the District Youth Union and the Youth Union Associations have actively supported young people in the province to access loan sources for economic development. At the same time, they have paid attention to coordinating and organizing consulting and support for start-ups, job creation, and short-term vocational training for young people. In the period of 2019 - 2024, the Executive Committee of Chau Thanh District Youth Union supported 14 young people to borrow capital to do business (0% interest rate) from Project 01 "Support 65 young households to escape poverty and develop sustainably", with a total capital of over 156 million VND; coordinated with An Giang Provincial Youth Startup Support Center to support 2 young people to borrow capital from the Youth Startup Support Fund, with an amount of 160 million VND; Supported 34 young people to borrow capital to implement the loan program to support job creation and maintain and expand job creation from the Social Policy Bank, with an amount of 1.7 billion VND. 

With many practical ways, Chau Thanh District Youth Union at all levels has aroused the spirit of entrepreneurship, creativity, aspiration, and growth in the homeland, enriching themselves, their families, and society. Many youth start-up models in the district have brought about economic efficiency, such as: Le Vu Linh with the model of "making ornamental pots"; Cao Thanh Nghia with the model of "Garden - pond - barn"; Do Minh Trung with the model of "Producing aluminum cabinets"; Cao Thi Kieu Ngan with the service model of "Aesthetic gymnastics"; Ho Van Day with the model of growing "Crystal chrysanthemums"; Huynh Huu Hau with the model of "Raising pigs for reproduction"; Nguyen Thi Tieng with the model of "Growing straw mushrooms"; Le Thanh Trung with the model of "Raising eels for reproduction"; Mr. Nguyen Minh Hau with the betta fish farming model (ornamental fish)... As one of the young people supported with a loan of 60 million VND to start a business in 2024, Mr. Huynh Cong Truong (Dong Phu 1 hamlet, Vinh Thanh commune) has quite successfully implemented the oyster mushroom growing model. Mr. Cong Truong said: "When I received the loan, I invested in more equipment, expanded the growing house and seed spawn. I have enough machinery, which will shorten the care time, increase productivity and product quality, so my income will also increase compared to before."
