(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the evening of January 9, at Hai Ba Trung Walking Street in My Long Ward (Long Xuyên City), the An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center, in collaboration with Tu Son Supermarket, hosted the An Giang OCOP Market – Welcoming the Lunar New Year 2025.
The market features over 700 products, including specialty agricultural goods, signature items, key products, and OCOP-certified products from 30 provinces and cities across the Mekong Delta region, Ho Chi Minh City, the Southeast, Central Highlands, and Northern provinces.
In addition, there are exhibition areas showcasing a diverse range of goods, including fashion, textiles, cosmetics, wooden furniture, handicrafts, and household items. Visitors can also enjoy a culinary section, live demonstrations of traditional cake-making, and a variety of regional specialties. Highlighting the event are performances by renowned singers and artists from Ho Chi Minh City and “Don ca tai tu” (Southern Vietnamese traditional music), providing an enriching experience for attendees.
The market serves as a bridge connecting localities, organizations, and businesses to strengthen trade promotion, foster cooperation, and enhance the marketing and distribution of OCOP products, along with regional specialties. It aims to stimulate domestic consumption while offering an engaging and refreshing experience for the residents of Long Xuyên City and visitors during the Lunar New Year celebration of 2025.
