The An Giang Talent Support Fund, founded by former Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Khanh, is a social organization. Since its inception, the fund has carried out practical work, contributing to human resource training, nurturing talents, and serving the socio-economic development of the province.

After 15 years of establishment and development, An Giang Talent Support Fund has mobilized over 14.5 billion VND from organizations, businesses, individuals, and philanthropists inside and outside the province. From the main source of funding by using bank interest rates, the fund has supported, assisted, and rewarded 2,150 outstanding individuals in many fields with a total amount of nearly 12 billion VND. Of which, there were 810 high school students; 1,166 university and college students; 31 graduate students, postgraduate students; 143 outstanding individuals who are managers, teachers, lecturers, coaches, artists, farmers, workers, etc. Up to now, the remaining capital of An Giang Talent Support Fund is over 16.5 billion VND, which is managed, preserved, and developed sustainably.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy highly appreciated the spirit of community service and the noble human values that members of An Giang Talent Support Fund have contributed to the province over the past 15 years. The leader of Provincial People's Committee said that the current organizational structure of An Giang Talent Support Fund is suitable for practical requirements and is completely capable and has the conditions to effectively organize and implement activities according to the functions and objectives that An Giang Talent Support Fund has determined.

On behalf of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy hopes that, by being humane and creative, An Giang Talent Support Fund will continue to maintain and promote enthusiasm, accompany and support students to confidently conquer knowledge. At the same time, it is promoting communication work to spread the value and meaning of the Fund, helping people and businesses clearly understand the principles and purposes; From there, it will also proactively participate in contributing as well as introduce worthy subjects to receive support from the Fund; Further strengthen the connection with educational institutions, training schools, and management units to proactively discover talents, support at the right time, and with the right people.

An Giang Talent Support Fund needs to have stronger connections with individuals and organizations with conditions, especially businesses to nurture talents, support start-up activities for the young generation, and contribute to building the homeland and the country.
