(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the evening of March 06, the Department of Industry and Trade of An Giang coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, the People's Committee of An Phu district and Tu Son Supermarket to organize the program of bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas in 2025 with the theme "Vietnamese goods festival to rural areas - OCOP products of An Phu - An Giang".

The festival takes place from March 6 to 9, 2025 (4 days and 4 nights), at Long Binh Commercial Center (Long Binh townlet, An Phu district), displaying and selling local specialties, typical craft villages, typical food and food products of An Giang province, focusing on OCOP products, typical products... Along with many promotional programs (discounts, gifts, vouchers...); cultural exchange programs, game shows with prizes. Here, businesses can introduce themselves, promote their image and typical products to consumers, while also opening a new direction for quality local products.

Speaking at the opening of the Festival, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of An Giang, Huynh Ngoc Ho, emphasized: The Festival aims to actively respond to the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and help consumers recognize, access and use more and more Vietnamese branded products. It is an opportunity to directly connect businesses with customers; create conditions for people to access Vietnamese products, OCOP products with guaranteed quality, reasonable prices, with a civilized and modern shopping style. This is an opportunity to strengthen the role of state agencies in supporting businesses in commercial activities; contribute to the implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals, maintain economic growth, promote production, and enhance commercial activities in the province.

At the Festival, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Tu Son Supermarket signed a plan to coordinate the implementation of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" - An Giang OCOP products in 2025.
