The delegation visited Mr. Dinh Phu Cuong (war invalid, 44%) and Mr. Nguyen Chi Lang (war invalid, 84%) in Long Dien Commune; and Ms. Hoang Thi Be Hai and Ms. Vo Thi Muoi (persons with meritorious services in assisting the revolution) in Cu Lao Gieng Commune.

During the visit and tribute to the families, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee warmly inquired about their health and living conditions, and expressed profound gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, sick soldiers, mothers of martyrs, and persons with meritorious services in the cause of the struggle for national liberation and the reunification of the country.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong requested that the Party committees and authorities of the two communes of Long Dien and Cu Lao Gieng continue to fully and promptly implement preferential regimes and policies for persons with meritorious services; and pay attention to caring for policy-beneficiary families both materially and spiritually, thereby contributing to spreading the nation’s tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source.”

On this occasion, the leaders of the Party organizations and authorities of the two communes of Long Dien and Cu Lao Gieng also presented tribute gifts to the families, expressing their hope that the families would continue to uphold their revolutionary tradition and encourage their children and grandchildren to actively participate in building an ever more prosperous locality.
