(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of January 6, Ho Van Mung, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting of Provincial People's Committee members to discuss and approve matters within their authority and to submit to the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee. Also attending were Nguyen Thanh Phong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Vice Chairmen Le Van Phuoc, Ngo Cong Thuc, Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, and Le Trung Ho.

At the meeting, An Giang Provincial People's Committee members discussed three matters to be submitted to the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council: a draft resolution adjusting the list of projects requiring land recovery in An Giang Province as per Resolution No. 40/NQ-HĐND dated June 18, 2025; a draft resolution approving adjustments to the list of land areas for bidding to select investors for land-using projects in An Giang Province; and a draft resolution regulating expenditure standards for international cooperation activities in An Giang Province.

In his concluding remarks, An Giang Provincial People's Committee Chairman Ho Van Mung approved the discussed contents. He requested relevant agencies, units, departments, and sectors assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to thoroughly address the opinions raised at the meeting, review the discussed contents, and ensure compliance with procedures. They should urgently finalize and complete the documents, and submit them to the Provincial People's Council before January 15, 2026.

Chairman Ho Van Mung agreed to assign the An Giang Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center to organize monthly business coffee meetings to gather feedback from businesses on the province's investment and economic development policies. This aims to inform businesses about the province's investment promotion policies, address their concerns, attract investment, boost economic growth, and improve the province's business satisfaction indices, ultimately enhancing competitiveness and driving business growth.

The first event is expected to take place this Saturday, with 150-200 attendees. On a monthly basis, by the 15th, businesses will submit reports to the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, which will compile and advise the Provincial People's Committee on addressing business difficulties and issues.

They also discussed preparations for the year-end summary meeting for 2025 and the launch of tasks and targets for 2026./.
