(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of September 11, the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to announce and present decisions on early retirement and work cessation in accordance with Government Decree No. 178/2024/NĐ-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/NĐ-CP for comrades under the management of the Party Central Secretariat and the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Present at the event were Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Lam Minh Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee; along with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.


At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Hoang Nam, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Organization Commission of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, announced the Decision of the Party Central Secretariat on early retirement, effective September 1, 2025, for comrade Mai Van Huynh, former Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the People’s Council of Kien Giang province (prior to the merger).




At the same time, the An Giang Provincial Party Standing Committee announced the Decision on early retirement, effective September 1, 2025, for Mr. Vo Minh Hoang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Commission, in accordance with Government Decree No. 178/2024/NĐ-CP (as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 67/2025/NĐ-CP).
The Standing Committee also announced the Decision on work cessation, effective September 1, 2025, for Mr. Giang Thanh Khoa, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, in accordance with the same decrees.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the ceremony was an opportunity for the Party, the government, and the people of An Giang to express respect, acknowledgment, and profound gratitude for the great contributions of the comrades throughout their careers.
He also highlighted that this occasion provides encouragement and motivation for today’s generation of officials to continue their efforts and development. Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai affirmed that, in their various positions, comrades Mai Van Huynh, Vo Minh Hoang, and Giang Thanh Khoa had all left important marks, contributing to building a strong and clean Provincial Party Committee, leading the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security, improving people’s livelihoods, and promoting the growth of An Giang province.
He expressed confidence that after retirement, these comrades would continue to follow provincial developments and contribute their wisdom and valuable experience. Their achievements are a priceless spiritual asset and a source of inspiration for future generations of officials.In particular, the Provincial Party Standing Committee hoped that comrade Mai Van Huynh would continue to participate in managing the Provincial Memorial Temple for heroes, martyrs, and national contributors, and serve as an advisor to the Provincial Study Promotion Fund, helping it to operate effectively in supporting disadvantaged students to continue their education.
