Antesco Company cooperates with Phu Thinh An Khanh Agricultural Service Cooperative to create acacia mango raw material area for processing. Thereby, promoting the link between production and consumption of mango products along the value chain, especially exporting to markets with high competitive advantages through signing consumption contracts.
For off-season 2024, from now until the end of 2024, Antesco Company continues to link farmers to produce and consume 300 hectares of mangoes in An Phu district, Tan Chau town and other areas; the output is about 7,500 tons.
“Antesco Company will continue to promote links with farmers in larger areas and more stable prices, so that farmers can feel more secure in their production and raise the position and value of Acacia mangoes of An Giang land in the world market" - General Director of Antesco Company Nguyen Hoang Minh shared.
According to Vice Chairwoman of An Phu District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Phuong, the entire district has 2,048 hectares of fruit trees, with only 1,950 hectares of associated mango growing area. The average yield is 40-70 tons/ha/year. Most concentrated in 6 communes: Khanh Binh, Khanh An, Long Binh town, Nhon Hoi, Quoc Thai and Phu Huu. The district prioritizes inviting businesses to cooperate in production and technical support, contributing to increasing productivity and quality of mango products.
Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Director of An Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Tran Thanh Hiep highly appreciated the implementation of joint production and consumption of mangoes between the company, cooperatives and local authorities. At the same time, it is recommended that the locality continue to pay attention, support and create conditions for Antesco Company to carry out the production-consumption link of acacia mangoes in the area. On the company's side, it is necessary to develop links with other products such as: baby corn, soybeans, vegetables...
On this occasion, An Giang Fruit and Vegetable Food Joint Stock Company (Antesco) awarded 200 scholarship gifts to primary and secondary school students with difficult circumstances and good studies in An Phu district with a total value of 100 million VND, to support children with part of their study expenses. /.
