(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of February 6, at the Provincial Labor Culture House (Long Xuyen Ward), the An Giang Province Labor Federation held the "Gathering Tet - Spring Thanks to the Party" program 2026. Tran Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, attended the event.
At the event, the An Giang Province Labor Federation gave 300 gifts (worth 1 million VND each, including gifts and cash) to struggling workers and laborers. They immersed themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the festive performances to celebrate the Party - welcome Spring and joined in traditional games.
With the motto "no union member left behind during Tet", the Provincial Labor Federation allocated 12.5 billion VND to support struggling workers. It's a big effort from the union, given the challenges workers still face.
Specifically, the Labor Federation gave 12,000 gift packages (1 million VND each) to union members, workers in tough situations, like those with occupational injuries or serious illnesses. Each package includes 600,000 VND in cash and goods worth 400,000 VND, supporting them materially and emotionally.
The union also supported workers on duty during Tet with 500 cash gifts (1 million VND each), boosting the spirits of those who are on duty on the Binh Ngo New Year's Eve./.
