Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Lê Hồng Thắm emphasized that the 5th session of the Provincial People's Council considered, discussed and voted to pass 18 resolutions in accordance with legal regulations and the province's requirements.
The resolutions address two major requirements currently facing the province. That is, to gradually improve and unify the mechanisms and policies of the province after the rearrangement, creating a unified policy framework for the apparatus to operate synchronously, so that people and businesses in the same province can access policies more clearly, conveniently and fairly; to determine investment priorities, creating a foundation for implementing the province's development goals in the 2026-2030 period, well serving the province's goals and development orientations in the new term.
Along with that, the resolutions on national target programs, transportation, land and projects in Phú Quốc continue to create a basis for more effectively mobilizing, allocating and using resources, both solving immediate requirements and preparing conditions for long-term development.

The Standing Vice Chairwoman of the People's Council of An Giang Province requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently concretize and organize the implementation of the resolutions, especially those that take effect immediately and have a direct impact on grassroots levels, people and businesses. Regarding the medium-term public investment plan, besides organizing the implementation of projects that have been allocated capital, it is necessary to continue to complete procedures and conditions to allocate the remaining capital.
The Standing Committee, Boards, Delegation Groups and each delegate of the Provincial People's Council continue to monitor the implementation of the resolutions. Post-issuance supervision should focus on issues that delegates are still concerned about at the session, commitments of the submitting agencies and contents directly related to the interests of the people. Only then will the role of the People's Council not stop at issuing resolutions but go all the way with the issues it has decided./.
