Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province Tran Thi Thanh Huong; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of An Giang Province Tong Phuoc Truong; Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy; representatives of provincial departments and branches attended.

Phu Tho Secondary School construction investment project was approved by the People's Committee of An Giang province with a total investment of more than VND 72.4 billion. The investment scale includes classrooms, administrative offices, functional rooms, libraries, auxiliary works, technical infrastructure and equipment. 

The project is designed with modern architecture, meeting national standards, meeting the needs of teaching and learning. The new school not only meets the increasing learning needs of children in the area but is also an important highlight in the strategy of developing school facilities, completing the network of educational and training facilities of the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy emphasized that the spacious and modern school today is the result of the close leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, local Party committees and authorities towards the cause of education and training in general and Phu Tho Secondary School project in particular.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy suggested that after the inauguration ceremony, the education and training sector continue to pay attention to arranging and training staff and teachers to ensure professional qualifications and improve the quality of teaching and learning.

The School Leadership actively promotes the spirit of innovation and creativity in management and teaching; builds a friendly learning environment and active students. Teachers continue to set an example of morality and innovate teaching methods; students strive to practice and study to become good children and good students.

Local authorities and parents continue to closely coordinate with the school in the management and education of the younger generation.

On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province Tran Thi Thanh Huong presented 20 scholarships to students with good academic performance, each worth VND 1 million.

Units participating in the construction of Phu Tho Secondary School donated 35 health insurance cards, each worth VND 632,000, to students in difficult circumstances.
