Delivering directives at the working session, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy stated that the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee had directed the development of the sub-project on training and upskilling human resources to serve the activities of APEC Year 2027 by the Subcommittee on Training and Upskilling Human Resources.
Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy instructed the Department of Home Affairs to urgently coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to advise on the project for training and upskilling human resources to serve the activities of APEC Year 2027. She requested that the project specify each task; clearly define target groups, training disciplines, and training content to ensure alignment with the objective of training and upskilling human resources for organizing APEC Year 2027 activities; solicit feedback from relevant units; and submit to the Provincial Party Standing Committee, with reporting in early December 2025.…
According to the report, the Department of Home Affairs has advised the Provincial People’s Committee to issue the Plan on training and upskilling human resources to serve the organization of the activities of APEC Year 2027.
The Provincial People’s Committee identified four training and upskilling components and assigned lead implementation responsibilities to departments and sectors. Specifically: Practical knowledge about APEC and international integration—chaired by the Department of Culture and Sports; Protocol and diplomatic etiquette—chaired by the Department of Tourism; Security, health, and emergency response—chaired by the Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command, Provincial Border Guard Command, and Department of Health; Environmental management and urban civility—chaired by the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
At the same time, the Department submitted to the Provincial People’s Committee the Decision to establish the Subcommittee for training and upskilling human resources to serve the organization of the activities of APEC Year 2027, and the estimated funding for training and upskilling human resources to be sent to the Department of Finance./.
