According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang Province, out of the 21 projects designated to support the APEC 2027 Summit, 13 projects will require land acquisition. The construction of facilities serving the APEC Summit is a national political mission and an external economic initiative, acting as a catalyst for local socio-economic development, tourism, and infrastructure enhancement. Therefore, all project works must strictly adhere to the timeline and be completed before June 2027.
Through field surveys and working with relevant units, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested relevant departments, branches and units to focus on speeding up all aspects of work, with a focus on site clearance. Whatever is right for the people must be implemented correctly, otherwise it must be dealt with decisively.
