An Giang General Hospital breaks ground on inpatient ward expansion

(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of Jan 10, it held a ceremony to kick off the project to expand its inpatient ward (Ward 2). Deputy Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy and provincial leaders attended.

The An Giang General Hospital inpatient ward (Ward 2) expansion project will have 1 basement, 1 ground floor, 9 upper floors, and 1 rooftop. Built on 1,039m², with 12,041m² floor area, it will have 269 beds . Equipped with modern medical facilities, it will serve emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care for An Giang and nearby areas. The project costs over 196 billion VND, with 63 billion from the provincial budget and 133 billion from the hospital's funds. An Giang General Hospital is the investor, and Bình Minh Construction is building it.
