Attending the Conference were representatives of leaders of the Thai Tourism Association and the Mekong Delta Tourism Association. On the side of An Giang province, there were the participation of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Dao Si Tuan, Deputy Director of the Trade and Investment Promotion Center Nguyen Huu Ngoc, Chairman of the Tourism Association Phan Pham Canh Toan.
At the Conference, Deputy Director of the Trade and Investment Promotion Center, representative of An Giang province's tourism industry, Nguyen Huu Ngoc introduced an overview of potentials, strengths, cooperation and development programs of local tourism to Thai tourism partners and businesses. On this occasion, An Giang province's tourism industry has invited Thai travel businesses to build tours to the Mekong Delta in general, as well as exploit An Giang tourism potentials in particular more and more clearly.
Through the conference, the two sides expressed their expectations of promoting cooperation, strengthening business connections, developing markets,... At the same time, building and strengthening the relationship between the Mekong Delta provinces and cities and the capital of Bangkok – Thailand to become closer and closer, continuing to develop tourism promotion programs in international markets in the coming time.
In addition, within the framework of the business trip, the delegation surveyed and explored destinations in the capital of Bangkok and Pattaya city (Thailand), Phnom Penh capital and Siem Reap province (Cambodia), in order to exchange experiences in organizing, managing and exploiting tourism activities in the friendship country./.
