Mr. Ly Thanh Sang - Director of Cam mountain resort said from 1st lunar Tet to now, the Cam Mountain attracted over 130,000 visitors to do sightseeing and entertainment, an increase of about 17% compared with last year's Tet.
On average, each day there are about 20,000 tourists enjoying the spring, particularly on 4th lunar Tet, guests to the Cam mountain resort rose to 27,000 people.

Theses days, tourists especially relatives of the Tu An Hieu Nghia religion (four debts of gratitude religion) in all over the Mekong Delta, HCM City and Eastern provinces following to the roads of provincial highway 55A, village road 17A and Xa Vong canal converge on Ba Chuc to attend the 121st day anniversary of Duc Bon Su Ngo Loi ′s death (13-October lunar month 1890 – 13-October lunar month 2011).

According to Mrs. Dinh Thi My Lan – the ranger station staff of the Tra Su indigo forest, Van Tra hamlet, Van Giao commune, Tinh Bien district, An Giang province, from early in the year to mid- October/2011, Tra Su indigo forest welcomed 13,538 tourists coming to visit, research, particularly in which tourists coming to visit in floating water season (from August-October/2011) hold 50% the amount of guests, an increase of threefold compared with ordinary months, among them international tourists holding 4%.

The Sam Mountain Sculpture Garden located in overall planning developing an Urban Ward of Commercial-Service-Tourism with a size of 900 ha belonging to economy-society development strategy of Chau Doc town till 2020, for developing the Sam Mountain Tourist Zone to become one of specific tourism symbols of the Mekong Delta.

According to statistics of the An Giang Culture-Sport &Tourism Department, Year of the Cat 2011, there are about 324,300 series of tourists coming to visit and entertain at tourist zones, points in the area of the province, increasing 8% compared with Year of the Tiger 2010.

From early in the year till now, the total sales on tourism of the Mekong Delta achieving over 2,000 billion dong increasing 28.7%, in which series of international tourists increase 18.7% in comparison with the same period of 2009.

In 2010, the An Giang Tourism Development Joint-Stock Company spending the expenditure nearly 10 billion dong to invest, upgrade articles of projects and embellish the landscape of the tourist area of Cam Mountain.

Cam Mount is belonged to An Hao commune (Tinh Bien district), situated at a height of 716 m in comparison with the seawater level, for a long time it has been likened to the roof of Mekong Delta, each year it attracts millions of visitors and tourists. But there are few people knowing that from many generations residents of this upland region must live in the situation of "thirst" on power and water.
